With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria De Jesus Garza Talamantez, a
beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully at
the age of 82 after bravely facing numerous health challenges.

Maria was a devoted wife to her late husband, Abel V. Talamantez, with whom she
shared 59 years of love and companionship. In the weeks following his passing, Maria
faced her own health struggles, enduring them with the same strength and grace that
defined her life. She was a cherished mother to her son, Abel G. Talamantez, and his
wife, Rachel, and a proud grandmother to Gabriel, whose life she filled with love and
joy.

Maria is also survived by her dear siblings, Santiago, Alicia, Blanca, Leticia, Elva, and
Hector. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Maria Esther, whom she held
close to her heart throughout her life. A skilled electronics assembler, Maria dedicated
her life to hard work, providing for her family with unwavering dedication. She was a
woman of many passions—a gifted cook, especially known for her delicious Mexican
dishes that brought her family together. She cherished trips to Mexico and views of the
ocean, and the time spent with her friends at the Ranch, where she found joy and
companionship.

Maria had a deep love for music and dancing, which brought light to her life and those
around her. Even in her final days, she remained resilient and strong. She lived life to its
fullest, embodying the roles of a good mother, wife, sister, and grandmother with grace
and strength.

Maria leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. While she may
no longer be with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Rest in peace, Maria. You will be deeply missed, but your love and kindness will remain
with us always.
